Treadmill

'Treadmill' is a series of CMYK screen prints based on virtual renders created in 3D software. These renders are separated by color, and printed by hand on archival, cotton paper with acrylic ink.

Each image in this body of work is an element of a larger virtual 'sprawl' city. As a quintessentially artificial world- a simulated environment created with simulated colors- the work seeks to explore the idea of the uncanny as a spatial quality in wholly artificial environments.
