Oceanic Feeling
This is an experimental, dual channel, 'zero' player game in which an NPC attempts to survive in two different scenarios. In 'Atoll' the character attempts to meet all needs for survival by reaching a homeostasis with the different environmental factors. In 'Pool' that same NPC AI is re-purposed to enjoy a leisurely world. The AI that governs the character's judgement is entirely reverse engineered from psychoanalytical theory, and the commented code is presented in book form alongside the work. This project was on display in April 2026.
